OnePlus carries a new budget phone called Nord N20 to the North American market, and this one will stand out in the segment by offering an AMOLED display. The company has distributed several major specifications and official images with PCmag, while also confirming that the phone will go on sale later this month. AMOLED display measuring 6.43 inches and has a round hole drilled in the upper left corner of the selfie camera housing.
But contrary to the previous rumors, there was no high refreshing magic level to be seen here. The level of refresh is locked at 60Hz, oneplus sacrifice must make between offering 90Hz LCD panel or OLED screen to keep the fixed cost check. ONEPLUS COO Kinder Liu told the PCmag that the OLED Nord N20 screen offers a better display quality, including a wider color gamut, rather than the phone from other brands that fall in the same price bracket.
However, ONEPLUS executive does not share details about how much it costs will cost after hits. In comparison, Oneplus Nord N10 starts at $ 299.99 and place the 90Hz FHD + LCD screen on the table. Market dynamics in North America are very different from hyper-competitive Asian markets such as India, where brands such as Xiaomi and Realme have offered a 120Hz OLED panel with lower price labels, with more camera and more power charging speeds Height behind him.
Clean looks, competitive specs
Speaking of charging, Oneplus Nord N20 will support VOOC’s fast filling technology borrowed from Oppo, but the output is reported to be limited to 30W, instead of 65W which is common in other markets. The phone looks pretty sleek with the flat side of the iPhone 12 inspired and the rear panel without the island camera that is visible. Two main shooters – 48MP main camera and 8-megapixel ultrawide – stand out with a clear large lens and rings lifted around them.
There is also a smaller tertiary camera lens, but there is no detail about the purpose or number of megapixels. When it comes to the specifications reported about the upcoming OnePlus telephone, it seems that the model will package the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, but configuration with a higher storage capacity may also be in the pipe.
On the side of the software, Oxygenos 11 will run things outside the box. Oneplus Nord N20 will fight the Galaxy A33 5G and Samsung budget phones offered by Motorola and TCL. But it seems Oneplus has tasted success with the Nord series in North America, although Oppo-iFication of its intelligent cellphone strategy has been filled with less profitable acceptance of its fanbase.
